About the first meeting

Silvio´s here. We took only a few hours to get da job´s done in our first attempt to finish my ork army. In only 4 hours we manage to build 20 or so boyz, 1 trukk and 1 looted sentinel to be played as a big killa kan.

Still missing some things to be done:

- texturized base for da boyz,

- more rivets, big shoota and wreckin´ ball for da trukk

- ammo box and more bits for dakilla kan

Suggestions of where I should place the big shoota is more than welcome.

Next step is to primer and start paintin those minis. Da trukk will be red sunz (mostly red and a big yellow sun somewhere

Da boyz will be in the trukk so maybe some paintin´ to show them as red sunz

And the beautifull sentinel killa kan made mostly by AJ (a.k.a. Arcuballis, I believe, in the Waaagh forum) wil receive first a IG painting and weathering and then a red paint job to put it with a proppa color.

That´s it, I believe. Still more dozens of boyz to go!

Hi Ladz!

Streem here, ready to bring you news directly from the front. This Sunday, our ORK team met at Silvio’s place to start our weekly meetings to rule the galaxy (oops, this is the second plan) to restart our journeys in our fabulous hobby. Well, the first day was very productive…

I was a little bit late to the meeting, but, despite the odds, the day was great! As the grot of the team, the evil runtherds made me work until my fingers were bleeding, and so I finished converting about 20 boyz (sluggas & shootas) for Silvio’s Waaagh, from Fantasy Orcs… AJ (a lot of people may know this guy from Da Waaagh! Antonio Jorge, aka AJ) built a Sentinel Killa Kan, with a really funny Grotzooka (still need the ammo box, but is looking great!) and started painting his converted Thousand Sons, for his Nurgle CSM army. AMAZING converting job! And the lazyboss (I’m kidding!) Silvio did just “some” (a lot, indeed) work in one of his Trukks… a great job, by the way! Will look fantastic on the battlefield with a Red Paint Job, running to kill some ‘umies!

Begin the beginning

Since this is our first post, it is fair enought to explain our crazy idea.

This blog will document our progress in the intrincate hobby of painting miniatures. Not just any miniature but gaming miniatures. And since we are two ork aficionados we decided to start documenting our progress with our ork armies.

We will also talk about other miniatures and games and sure we will put here one or two different miniatures painted or converted by us that is not an ork. Heck, we may even put an elf mini here!

Our first meeting will be held soon (a.k.a. saturday morning) and we will start our (hopefully) long journey in this blog.
